DIY tree trunk stool

These beautiful tree trunk stools will bring you magical nights when they light up brightly at night. Painted with special colors, they add a charming ambiance to your garden, patio, and balcony and are sure to amaze your friends at your next barbecue. Our instructions show you how to easily build these tree trunk stools yourself:

Required materials:

Tools required:

    • chainsaw
    • Brush and/or brush roller
Materials needed to build the glowing tree trunk stools

On your stools, get set, go!

      1. Sawing: First, saw the tree trunk into approximately 45 cm long pieces, your stools. Of course, you can also make smaller or larger stools for children or NBA pros.

      2. Sanding: Then sand the future seat surface of your tree trunk thoroughly. The surface must be dry and free of dust and grease.

      3. Luminous colors: Now apply the glow-in-the-dark paint to the trunk with a brush and also work in the recommended pure luminous pigments .
A quick tip for your garden: Aside from the yellow and green tones, the luminosity of glow-in-the-dark paints is often mediocre to poor. You can get better (brighter) results by diluting the glow-in-the-dark paints with pure luminous pigments (available in yellow/bluish). However, be careful not to incorporate the luminous pigments into the colored paint completely, as otherwise the strong yellow/bluish pigments will suppress your original color.
