Employee gifts: Ideas and their importance for a positive corporate culture
We all know how important employees are to a company. Nothing works without them. That's why it's so important to thank them for their good work with a small token of appreciation from time to time. Employee gifts are a great way to say thank you and express your appreciation. It doesn't always have to be something big and expensive. Sometimes a small gesture is enough – it's often the thought that counts.
What are employee gifts?
Employee gifts are tokens of appreciation that a company gives to an employee in addition to their salary. 🎁 Their purpose is to express appreciation for their work and dedication. This not only fosters a positive work environment but also boosts employee motivation.
On what occasions are employee gifts given?
Employee gifts can be given on a wide variety of occasions. These include classics like Easter, Christmas, New Year's, or International Women's Day. But small gifts for employees are also appropriate for company anniversaries, as welcome gifts, or for birthdays.
Employee gifts: A gesture of appreciation
"Small gifts keep friendships alive" – this old saying also applies in the workplace. Surprising your employees with a small gift now and then is a thoughtful gesture that will have a positive long-term impact on the work atmosphere. Here are just a few of the benefits of employee gifts :
- 🤝 Recognition and appreciation: A gift for your employees shows them how important they are to the company's success. This makes them feel seen, which boosts their self-esteem.
- 🙌 Motivation: A thoughtfully chosen gift for employees can boost their motivation - and your company benefits from this too.
- 💪 Employee retention: Employee gifts can contribute to retaining good employees and fostering long-term loyalty to the company. This is more important than ever, especially in times of skilled labor shortages.
Sustainable gifts for employees: What makes a good employee gift
"Good intentions don't always lead to good results" – this also applies to employee gifts. Therefore, you should carefully consider which gift will truly provide added value for your employees. A carelessly chosen and unsuitable gift can, in the worst-case scenario, be received negatively and may even do you more harm than good as an employer. When selecting employee gifts, you should consider the following points:
- 👍 It should be useful: Nothing is worse than a useless employee gift that gathers dust at home or ends up in the trash. Therefore, a gift for your employees should be chosen so that it can be used in their personal or professional lives.
- 😊 Individuality: The better your gift is tailored to the employee's personality, preferences, and hobbies, the more likely it is to be a success.
- 🎁 The gift should be appropriate for the occasion: If possible, tailor the employee gift to the specific occasion (e.g., birthday, company anniversary, Christmas ).
- 🔝 Good quality: An employee gift doesn't have to cost a fortune, but you should still pay attention to good quality. A high-quality gift signals that you value your employees' work.
- 🌱 Sustainability: The topic of sustainability is increasingly coming into focus when it comes to employee gifts. Many employees want meaningful gifts that ideally also do some good.

Here's what our customers say
That's such a cute idea, it was really well received!!! Thank you. :)
Fantastic quality! Superb packaging! I give it as a gift for many different occasions and everyone is always delighted – most recently at a children's birthday party, where young and old alike were thrilled!
In times like these, when the world really needs a bit more (green) inspiration – and (not just because of Corona and the floods) many of us could use a little bit of "magic" (hope) – the idea of packaging "wish-granting" dandelions in glass jars is truly something special! THANK YOU for this little ray of hope in these rather "dark times" for many of us. And it's really wonderful to see that there are still companies for whom more than just pure profit is paramount. Please stay that way. Stay safe and healthy – together with all your loved ones – during this time of Corona. And above all: Stay healthy.
I ordered two sets at the end of July and gave one away as a gift, which was very well received. The packaging is lovely, and there's a great variety of seed bombs. I haven't dared to simply scatter seed bombs in the countryside this year because of the drought. But something is already growing in my flower box; I don't know if the seedlings will grow much, as it's already late in the year. My friend's seed bombs have also exploded in her garden. Next spring, I'll really get started.
A very lovely and personalized gift! Shipping was super fast, I'm happy :)
I ordered a few of these cards for the company, as we always like to have greeting and congratulatory cards on hand, and since our philosophy includes responsibility and environmental awareness, this card fits in perfectly with us. Excellent workmanship, very high quality and attractive. I highly recommend this product.
The wish-granting item was a huge hit. Unfortunately, I see they've been sold out for quite some time. Is there any hope for a reprint? It would be a shame if not.
I ordered the wish fulfillers and they're great for making someone happy... Super friendly team! I can highly recommend them.
Dandelions simply exude something magical. I've given your "wish-fulfillers" as gifts for all sorts of occasions, and they've always been special. Whether for a birthday, a farewell, as a thoughtful hostess gift, or for Christmas, they've always brought a sparkle to the recipient's eyes. They're simply beautiful.
The card is beautifully designed and of very high quality. I will only buy these cards from now on; they are real eye-catchers, and the flower seeds are the perfect finishing touch.
