Terms and conditions of participation
Participation in the contest by Die Stadtgärtner, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is exclusively subject to these terms and conditions of participation.
Contest procedure
The duration of the contest extends from 01.12.2025, 8:00 a.m. to 24.12.2025, 12:00 a.m. Within this period, users will have the opportunity to participate online in the “Stadtgärtner Advent Calendar” contest.
Participation
To participate in the contest, it is necessary to fill out and submit the displayed participation form. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered in the drawing.
Only one submitted registration per participant will be considered for the contest. It is strictly prohibited to use multiple email addresses to increase the chances of winning.
Participation in the contest is free of charge.
Eligible participants
Eligible to participate are natural persons who reside in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria and have reached the age of 14. Participation is not limited to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods, services, or newsletter registration.
If a participant is limited in their legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required.
Persons involved in the conception and implementation of the contest and employees of the operator as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the contest. In addition, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example
(a) in case of manipulations related to access to or execution of the contest,
(b) in case of violations of these terms and conditions of participation,
(c) in case of unfair conduct or
(d) in case of false or misleading information related to participation in the contest.

The winners will be determined after the participation deadline by a random draw among all participants. If the contest is linked to a task, only those participants who have correctly completed the task will be entered into the draw.
The winners of the raffle will be informed about their prize promptly via a separate email.
The prize will be handed over exclusively to the winner or the legal representative of the minor winner. Exchange, self-collection, or cash payment of the prize is not possible.
Any costs incurred for shipping the prizes will be covered by the operator. Additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.
If the winner does not respond within 1 week after being notified, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
Termination of the Contest
The organizer expressly reserves the right to end the contest without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the planned course of the contest.
Data Protection
Providing personal data is necessary to participate in the contest. The participant assures that the personal information provided, especially first name, last name, and email address, is truthful and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available for use without consent.
Only the operator/organizer is allowed to collect, store, and use the data for the purpose of conducting the contest. The operator will delete the personal data collected during this contest after the contest ends.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of their first name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the operator's website and its social media platforms.
The participant can revoke their declared consent at any time. The revocation must be made in writing to the contact details provided in the imprint section on the operator's website. After revocation of consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.

Applicable Law
Questions or complaints related to the contest should be directed to the operator. Contact options can be found in the imprint section of the operator's website.
The operator's contest is exclusively subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability Clause
Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that comes closest economically to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a regulatory gap in these terms and conditions.
