Small contribution, big impact
Bee protection is on everyone’s lips. And that’s a good thing! We also want to help save and protect bees and will take action together with you. Since 2020, we have had our "Bee Welfare Products" in our range, which not only bring joy when gifted but also do good at the same time. For every product sold, a portion of the proceeds goes into a donation fund from which we plant bee-friendly wildflower meadows in our hometown Nordhorn once a year.
The projects so far:
- 🎉 Finally: Since 2023, we have our own flowering meadows and use the Bee Welfare donations to plant beautiful wildflower meadows in and around our hometown Nordhorn. This is how we want to give back to our region!
- 2022 we donated €1,231.17 to the Sielmann Foundation and its wild bee promotion project. The goal of the project is to create ideal living conditions for wild bees. We love it!
- Second half of 2021 We collected another €1,631.71 for the Aurelia Foundation.
- First half of 2021 We are happy to have invested €2,452.04 in species protection by creating important flowering areas that not only made Nordhorn bloom but also buzz.
- Second half of 2020 Together with you, we collected a donation of €332.00 for the Aurelia Foundation. Although outside the planting season, this is still a great result that fills us with joy!
- First half of 2020 Thanks to your help, we were able to support the initiative "Bees Go to School" by Mellifera e.V. with €1,535.06. A thousand thanks—that’s amazing!
