Since we began, we have wanted to make the world a more colorful place and support people in giving beautiful things to themselves and their loved ones while doing good. This also includes keeping our ecological footprint as a company as small as possible. It starts with recycled packaging material, continues with creating colorful flower meadows, and doesn’t stop with a big dose of team love.

We have already created 35 football fields worth of colorful flower meadows: Together with our flower sponsors, we have planted 25 hectares of valuable (and tasty) habitat for countless insects. And: Many other animals also benefit from our wild meadows! Nesting and breeding birds, rodents and small animals, as well as deer and their fawns, find peace, protection, and shelter in the tall flowers. => Learn more

We are organic certified: Many of our products are already organic, and many more are on the way – we are working on this with great dedication and passion. => View certificate

We ship climate-neutrally: Shipping is the biggest environmental problem in e-commerce. To at least make our small contribution here, we have been shipping our packages climate-neutrally since mid-2013. We use as little packaging as possible, reduce our packages to a minimum, and offset the CO2 emissions from transport through climate protection projects.

We recycle: Our packaging material largely comes from old boxes. Thanks to our shredding machine, we produce this ourselves. This way, what seems like waste becomes something useful again, and your order arrives safely to you!

We are recognized: We are committed to our environment and fellow humans also in the area of promotional products. With our growing range and sustainable promotional items, we try to offer an ecological alternative to the classic and mostly plastic promotional products of this world. In 2016, we were recommended by PSI as a Sustainable Product. Since then, we have only become more sustainable!

We rely on loving craftsmanship: We trust the many hardworking hands at Lebenshilfe and other workshops for people with disabilities – especially in northern Germany. This brings numerous benefits for both sides: short distances, local partners, social responsibility. Our products are 100% handmade in Germany.
- We love what we do and who we do it with: We are city gardeners inside and out. We especially value and nurture the growth of our employees. That’s why we also foster a cheerful and colorful atmosphere within our teams.
Small Stadtgärtner environmental statistics:
- With our 25 hectares of flower meadows, we stored 2,500 tons of CO2 in 2021.
- In 2021, our animal feed already fed more than 90,855 birds, 7,748 hedgehogs, and 12,015 squirrels.
- With the Bienenwohl campaign, we donated €1,867.06 to bee rescue projects in 2020.
